Ronnie Garland

After a thorough grounding in radio and electronics Ronnie enjoyed a successful career in Telecoms.  In 1998 Ronnie founded Cellular Service Logistics, which grew to become South Africa’s largest non- operator owned mobile phone repair company operating in 19 African countries. His specialization is in Business Development, Operations Management and Product Management.

Living in Nigeria for seven years he quickly learnt how to work in challenging environment. Customer service is a strong point and, in his career has set up world class customer care environments. Ronnie believes an important reason for his companies’ successes is that he never compromised standards as the organisation grew. 

Born in northern Rhodesia (Zambia), raised in southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and then landing up in South Africa, a strong trans-African culture developed. He has a passion to help African countries embrace First World practices, whilst maintaining their culture. Ronnie loves driving go-karts, has a lot of energy and enjoys spending time with his children. These days his focus is on enabling African villages, to experience a technology that works for their specific needs using WORLD.
