Ronel Visagie

Ronel Visagie started her career with the South African railways before joining MTN and obtaining her Charted Accountant certification. She moved on to a number of Financial Manager and CFO positions across a broad range of industries including, travel, food, banking and telecoms. In 2007 she co-founded Rorotika Technologies and was the CFO, then moved to Australia in 2009 and co-founded Digitata where she again held the position of CFO. Digitata is a Mauritian company and has dealings with multiple jurisdictions primarily in emerging markets.  

In 2017 Ronel was roped into the enabled.WORLD project with its highly unorthodox recognition and ownership model. Ronel was instrumental in creating a methodology for tracking WORLD tokens called MOE, and for ensuring that the financial treatment of these tokens conforms to international accounting standards. She ensures that WORLD is truly in the hands of everyone that contributes to it.

In addition to a very successful career, Ronel is a mother of three and is prouder of her children than any of her other achievements.
