Enabled WORLD Ltd (“WORLD”) strives to provide an environment where people feel free to express themselves. Violence, harassment and other similar types of antisocial behaviour discourage people from expressing themselves, and ultimately diminish the value of global public conversation for all. WORLD’s User Generated Content (“UGC”) Policy rules ensure everyone can participate in the public conversation freely and safely.

Remember that at all times you are personally responsible for the content you post on WORLD. By using WORLD, you agree to adhere to the conditions outlined below:

Conditions

Safety

Child sexual exploitation: We have zero tolerance for sexual exploitation of children.

Violence: You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people nor share content that is excessively gory or violent. Media depicting sexual violence and/or assault is also not permitted. You may not promote terrorism or violent extremism.

Offensive language: You may not use language that defamatory, obscene, hateful, inflammatory, offensive or in any other way falls below commonly accepted standards of taste and decency in your country.

Abuse/harassment: You may not engage in the targeted harassment of anyone, or incite other people to do so, including cyber-bullying, and “trolling”. This includes wishing or hoping that someone experiences physical harm; or encouraging suicide or self-harm.

Discrimination: You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin (xenophobia), caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, disease or any other such grouping.

Illegal or certain regulated goods or services: You may not use our service for any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of illegal activities. This includes selling, buying, or facilitating transactions in illegal goods or services, as well as certain types of regulated goods or services.

Privacy

Private information: You may not publish or post other people’s private information (such as home phone number and address) without their express authorization and permission. We also prohibit threatening to expose private information or incentivising others to do so.

Non-consensual nudity: You may not post or share intimate photos of someone that were produced or distributed without their consent.

Authenticity

Platform manipulation and spam: You may not use WORLD’s services in a manner intended to artificially amplify or suppress information or engage in behaviour that manipulates or disrupts people’s experience on WORLD.

Election integrity: You may not use WORLD’s services for the purpose of manipulating or interfering in elections or political processes. This includes posting or sharing content that may suppresses voter turnout or mislead people about when, where, or how to vote.

Impersonation: You may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organizations in a manner that is intended to or does mislead, confuse, or deceive others.

Synthetic and manipulated media: You may not deceptively share synthetic or manipulated media that are likely to cause harm. In addition, we may label messages containing synthetic and manipulated media to help people understand their authenticity and to provide additional context. You may not share information that is untrue (“Fake News”).

Copyright and trademark: You may not violate others’ intellectual property rights, including copyright and trademark.

Third-party advertising: You may not submit, post, or display any content on or through our services that includes third-party advertising, such as sponsorship graphics, without our prior consent.

Misrepresentation: You may not present any material that gives the impression that it emanates from WORLD or is endorsed or connected with us, if this is not the case.

Reporting of undesirable content

You may report content that you believe is undesirable by using the Public Topic “Report” or contact WORLD using the contact form.

Consequences of breach

We will determine, in our discretion, whether you have failed to comply with this UGC Policy. If you have failed to comply, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to suspend you from using the WORLD app without notice to you and/or to edit or remove (in whole or part) any of your UGC from WORLD on a temporary or permanent basis.

We also reserve the right:

• to pass on any UGC that gives us concern to the relevant authorities; and
• to disclose your identity to any third party (or their professional advisor) who claims that any of your UGC constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

If you or your UGC does not comply with this UGC Policy, and as a result of this, we suffer any loss or damage; you will be liable to us and hereby agree to indemnify us for any such loss or damage. This means that you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your failure to comply with this UGC Policy.
